Unknown Pleasures
The legendary indie best seller Unknown Pleasures is a perfect gourmand perfume that reflects perfumer John Pegg's memories of walking down the chilly streets of London, listening to Joy Division, while sipping on a warm cup of London Fog. The fragrance opens up with the smooth flavor of Earl Grey tea with honey and a zing of lemon. The drydown softens into cozy vanilla, dreamy tonka bean and the signature waffle cone base. Sure to make any gourmand lover smile.

I really don’t love sweet scents but this is addicting. It smells amazing when i layer it as well. I keep finding myself reaching for this as it gets deeper into fall/winter.
I love this one, and I'm a total lover of lemons. I sampled, then bought a full bottle. This is not mild lemon cake, this is a heavy, biting hit of lemon and lemon peel, with undertones of tea and caramel/honey, then the sharpness dries down to a bold gourmand lemon baked goods with tea. It's not a mild cake, it's a rich pastry with lemon and lemon peel The longer I smell it, the more it smells like concentrated, dried lemon and peel, which I love to eat. I don't find this a "fresh" lemon. Certainly, it can be overpowering for some, but, for me, it's an absolute love. The tea note makes this a bit more interesting a scent, contrasting the bitter with the tart, and amplifying both.
Sweet without being overpowering and just the slightest hint of citrus.
Just as good as the sample I purchased earlier.
It’s like lemon sugar cookies + tea. Lasts for hours.
I’m not a fan of the bottle’s cap (it feels cheap). But it doesn’t affect how it’s used.
Let me start by saying I never thought I'd be a gourmand fan, but Unknown Pleasures has set the bar SKY HIGH. As others have mentioned, the scent evolves as you wear it, but remains beautiful in all forms. (If you like stroopwafels, you'll be obsessed.) The way I ran to my computer to buy a bottle after sampling it...
