Founded in 2013 by musician and writer Leo Crabtree, BeauFort's darkly luxurious aesthetic and uncommon approach to fragrance execution using unusual ingredients in ‘overdosed’ concentrations drew both critical acclaim and consternation. Alas, the seed was sown; the story continues to this day. In the words of BeauFort, this is a collection of "tempestuous British perfumery and fragranced candles informed by early experiences at sea and a very British obsession with the elements."
