"On the outskirts of Clarksdale, Mississippi, at the end of a secluded dirt road sat a small ramshackle church. It was not a place of worship but rather where many went to seek refuge during impoverished times. Legend has it the structure was transported to the wild mint field by hand, hoisted on the shoulders of two dozen men. The outside remained simple and nondescript but the interior was aglow with pilfered neon signs, Christmas lights, and a jukebox donated by the sheriff’s son. It was a distinctly secular place where locals who knew where to find it could share moonshine, socialize, and dance their troubles away. They called their ramshackle juke joint Saint Julep and the oral histories compiled within paint a picture of that magical place where “the smiles was always free and salvation had the distinct smell of sweet mint.”

Shipping Time & Schedule
We process and ship orders within 1–4 business days, excluding major holidays. Orders ship Monday through Saturday; we do not ship on Sundays, and Sundays are not included in our processing or delivery timelines.

Signature Requirements
For delivery security, first-time orders over $125 and all orders over $200 ship with signature confirmation.
If you prefer delivery without a signature, you may request this in the Order Notes at checkout. Please note that by opting out, you acknowledge that we’re unable to replace or refund an order that is marked as delivered without signature confirmation. If the item is stolen after tracked delivery, the order cannot be refunded or replaced.
Lost or Stolen Packages
Once an order is marked as delivered by USPS or UPS (including orders signed for by the recipient), we’re unable to provide replacements or refunds for packages that are lost or stolen.
Claims can be filed only for orders officially designated as lost in transit by USPS or UPS. We’re unable to file claims or assume responsibility for orders marked as delivered by the carrier, including those signed for by the recipient.
If your delivery location is prone to theft or missed deliveries, we recommend shipping to a more secure address, such as a workplace, trusted recipient, or carrier hold location.

Sample Orders
Samples are designed to help you evaluate scents you might want to later purchase as a full bottle. You may order one sample per fragrance, up to 15 total in a single order. Samples are non-refundable.
For sample orders, please check your packing slip for a special code that will allow you to redeem the price of samples and sample shipping when purchasing full bottles of the scents you sample ($10 off full bottles).
Complimentary Samples
We provide complimentary samples with $75+ full-bottle purchases. You may request up to 3 samples with any qualifying order. Please use the Order Note section on the Shopping Cart overlay to let us know which complimentary samples you would like. We'll try to provide the scents you've requested, but substitutions may occur if items are out of stock.
Returns
We do not accept returns of perfumes, simply because perfumes can't be resold once they've been opened and used. We encourage you to order samples before purchasing full bottles of perfume. And here's the good news — with every sample purchased, we'll send you a coupon code that allows you to redeem the cost of the sample and sample shipping if you buy a full bottle of the fragrance you tried (in other words, you get $10 off).

Of all the ministry of scent fragrances I received this is my absolute favorite and I will be buying a full size bottle as soon as I’m able
I had absolutely no idea what to expect from Saint Julep or Imaginary Authors. It was a blind faith purchase on both counts and I am so grateful. Saint Julep truly has the power to save from a world filled with mediocrity and fragrances that all smell the same. I could not imagine what mint in a fragrance could mean, and I am so grateful that I tried it. It’s not overly noticeable, nor does it smell like Vicks vapor rub as one reviewer states. It is subtle and surreptitiously delightful. In fact, none of the notes listed for this perfume stand up and scream to be noticed. They put their hand up in the air, smooth as silk, and whisper,”Testify”. And you will I have no words for what exactly this smells like, but it truly smells like time-honored bliss. Even the citrus notes are low-key and respectful. I could wear this every day and night of my life and I think I will! I was intrigued by the name, “Imaginary Authors” and it has not disappointed. I love the idea that each fragrance has its own author and backstory so convincing that I’ve actually had to Google them a few times. I’m not naïve, but I want to believe that these are books that I could read. I’ve even been tempted to write a few… I think I’m going to have to buy the full set of IA samples because not a single one has disappointed yet. There are only a very scant few houses I can say that about and most of those are very old. IA are in very good company! Do yourself a favor and try one. You won’t be able to put it down…
When I first smelled this on a test strip the mint came across as too green & astringent for my tastes. I'm very glad I decided to try it on my skin because it was a totally different experience. It's a sweet, minty sugar scent that has good longevity, isn't too strong or overwhelming & provides these lovely wafts of scent throughout the day. I really enjoyed this one & will be purchasing a full-size bottle!
Today I picked up this sample I’ve had for around a year, wanting to try it out one more time before I took the plunge to purchase a minty scent. To my surprise I didn’t get any of the mint that made me first love this - only bourbon and sugar from spray to dry down. It’s been kept cool and away from sunlight so I’m not sure what happened here, I just know I miss what it used to be.
