Following a childhood dream, Loreto Remsing began making perfumes in the mid 1990s, as a college student. Her initial interest in the therapeutic properties of essential oils expanded when she fell in love with rare natural essences and, later, fine fragrance materials. The influences on Loreto's work range from her experiences in the Central Valley as a young child of Chilean political refugees to her love of the natural beauty of California and time spent in San Francisco rock music venues.
Since the 90s, Loreto has launched three indie perfume lines, including this widely popular mixed media line and her all-natural line, LARŌ. Laromatica consists of unique wearable fragrances, available in perfume oil and eau de toilette. All scents in the line are vegan and cruelty free.
