Versailles, a Christmas evening in the 18th century

Everywhere the eye falls, light dances in the mirrors. In the hearth, the fire crackles, giving way to the ballet of flames. In the richly decorated Hall of Mirrors of the Château de Versailles, the firelight reflects and multiplies, reverberating endlessly.

Through the La Nuit des Glaces collection (the Night of Mirrors), the spirit of Trudon revives scents of burning wood and sweet treats. With a breath of wax or a powdery trail, the winter solstice takes on an air of splendor.

An amber-woody accord, transports one to an 18th-century boudoir, a space of elegant richness where ladies would retreat or entertain in the utmost intimacy, animated by silk reflections and other indulgences. This creation blends amber, iris absolute, and cedarwood, naturally igniting playful seduction.

Trudon's Instructions:

In order to get the most out of your candle, burn it until the entire surface of the candle melts.
To preserve the fragrance, do not burn your candle for more than 2 hours at a time during the first third of the candle and 1 hour at a time during the remaining.
Do not leaveburning candle unattended. Do not set in a draft. Keep away from children, curtains and pets.
Should the wick require centering, gently readjust to correct position when the wax is still molten. Allow candle to solidify before relighting.
Should any black smoke appear, trim the tip of the wick. It should be clean and no longer than 5mm at all times.
Always protect the table or surface on which the candle rests (with a wood or ceramic plate, for example).
Do not burn your candle all the way down. Always leave at least 5 mm of non-molten wax at the bottom.
Keep your candle in a dry and temperate environment, between 60 and 80° F.
The first use of your candle should ideally occur within two months after purchase.

In La Nuit des Glaces, each glass is coated with a mirror finish. The inside of the artisanal glass is lined with hand-applied silver leaf. Each candle is then lacquered in shades of celadon. Enhanced in this way, the glasses interact with one another, reflecting the character of each fragrance with a silver mirror-effect celadon for Cabinet des Miroirs.
