d'Annam is the brainchild of Nick Hoang, whose time spent living outside his home country of Vietnam inspired a longing for fragrances that would take him back to the captivating scents that painted the landscapes of his rural childhood — "...lotus blossoms that graced our serene lakes, the crisp scent of morning dew on verdant rice paddies, the bitterness of lime leaves in my grandma’s garden..."
Born from this desire to create an olfactory memoir of Vietnam, Hoang worked with perfumer Anh Ngo and the global fragrance house IFF to launch nine scents that pay tribute to the country's rich heritage and geography, from a personal and contemporary perspective. d'Annam's lauded second collection pays tribute to the founder's time spent traveling in the beautiful, culturally and aesthetically rich country of Japan.
