Founded in 1885 by Auguste Guerbois, Les Bains Guerbois began as a luxurious spa, where high society rubbed elbows with artists and writers such as Monet, Renoir and Proust. Then, in 1978, it morphed to include a world-renowned nightclub and later, a 5-star boutique hotel under the stewardship of Jean-Pierre Marois. The denizens of the storied club and hotel include such luminary stars as David Bowie and Iman, Mick Jagger, Grace Jones and Prince (who inspired the irresistible fragrance, 1992 Purple Night).
It was in 2016, that Marois breathed new life into the Guerbois legacy with the launch of a signature cologne and a perfumed candle, followed two years later by the award-winning Eaux de Parfum collection, each scent representing a different era in Les Bains Guerbois’ rich history. The 2022 Formes & Matières collection is a multi-sensory exploration of the historic premises.
