The first in a constellation of floral perfumes, Tilia is also, for its creator Marc-Antoine Barrois and his lifelong accomplice, the perfumer Quentin Bisch, the name of an imaginary star. The one who watches over happy days. An ode to simplicity and optimism.

From Marc-Antoine Barrois
Simple. Solar. Smiling. It is the scent of everlasting summer. Of holidays that never end. The honeyed, apricot inflections of broom. The tender powder of heliotrope. A bucolic bouquet made richer with a sprig of velvety jasmine sambac. Underlined, like a stroke of shade intensifying the radiance of an afternoon in the sun, by the smoky earthiness of vetiver...

Perfumer
Quentin Bisch

Notes
lime, broom, jasmine sambac, vetiver, heliotrope, georgywood, ambrofix

Returns

We do not accept returns of perfumes, simply because perfumes can't be resold once they've been opened and used. We encourage you to order samples before purchasing full bottles of perfume. And here's the good news — with every sample purchased, we'll send you a coupon code that allows you to redeem the cost of the sample and sample shipping if you buy a full bottle of the fragrance you tried (in other words, you get $10 off).

Please contact orders@ministryofscent.com if you have a question or issue related to your order or shipping.

Sample Orders

Samples are designed to help you evaluate scents you might want to later purchase as a full bottle. You may order one sample per fragrance, up to 15 total in a single order. Samples are non-refundable.

For sample orders, please check your packing slip for a special code that will allow you to redeem the price of samples and sample shipping when purchase full bottles of the scents you sample ($10 off full bottles).

Complimentary Samples

We provide complimentary samples with $75+ full bottle purchases. You may request up to 3 samples with any qualifying order. Please use the Order Note section on the Shopping Cart overlay to let us know which complimentary samples you would like. We'll try to provide the scents you've requested, but substitutions may occur if items are out of stock.

Does not disappoint

This reminds me of my first spring in Berkeley, I could smell this hypnotic sweet floral everywhere but couldn't identify the source. I was working in a pastry kitchen and the chef brought in some jasmine flowers from her neighbor's fence that we steeped in milk to make the most luscious panna cotta.

This perfume is like that experience in technicolor - every other note in tandem with the jasmine is like the first warm spring day with clear skies, a cool breeze, and sunshine on your face, full of hope and new experiences.

I love it when a fragrance takes me back to a very specific moment, and I'm so happy to have this on my shelf.
