Napoleon Bonaparte was a French military and political leader who rose to prominence during the French Revolution and led several successful campaigns during the Revolutionary Wars of the late 18th century. He rose to prominence under the candlelight of Cire Trudon, which he used throughout his life, even gifting a special candle at the birth of his son.
Trudon's black wax bust of Napoleon has been molded from an original sculpture at the Louvre museum in Paris. Each piece is hand-finished to remove seam lines and any other imperfections. The hardness of the wax makes it easy to dust, so it should last a very long time as a decorative object.
