As it warms on the skin, the softly aromatic scent of hinoki and cypress lend a distinctly meditative Japanese character. Blending with an opposing and intimate scent of saffron, as it dries down, its sensuality emerges. Resting on unexpected twists with deep animalic notes – grey amber, musk, and ambroxan, to add texture and depth, the fragrance finishes addictive and seductive.

"Wabi-Sabi is my journey of finding a beauty and homage to the aging process, to imperfection – and precisely to highlight these imperfections which are ultimately beautiful in this very spiritual and inspiring notion.

The visual inspiration of the fragrance is old Japanese sauna — places where we seek to recharge ourselves. Sitting in an old sauna, surrounded by aged woods, which diffuses deep scent of hinoki, and there is this extremely hot steam which fills the space and surrounding our body, while we are naked only covered with a towel on our knees. I find the aspect of imperfect beauty, yet a sensuality here.

The fragrance is perfect for a person who seeks spirituality, serenity, and a sensuality at the same time."
