Casa Cuervo: The warmth of the horses in the cold morning, raising the aroma of chamomile in the prairies as they pass by. The leather of saddles, chaps and headbands of the harness room. The animal intensity of cattle and rockroses, the austere elegance of oak moss and lavender. And those cigars and pipes charged with marine tobaccos, smoked by the fire place, when the script of life is written after a working day in the Extremadura fields. Casa Cuervo contains some of the best moments spent with my family, sharing my father’s dreams and passions.

ESSAIS/Olfactory Digressions is the creative space for Ernesto Collado, head perfumer and founder of the brand. Taking the most surprising CAMÍ as referents or simply inspired by a particular landscape, he attempts to fix in a formula the spontaneity, richness and complexity easily created by nature. As any fiction, it will never overcome reality, but it can be lifted with the help of imagination.

ESSAIS are more poetic and abstract and less figurative. More artificial in the original sense of the word (from the Latin artificialis, made with art) but still 100% natural.
